Day 3 started as a beautiful sunny day – which was quite a relief as the electricity decided it wasn’t quite so keen to play. Panic for a lack of cooked breakfast quickly spread throughout the adults but was soon alleviated with the return of the power. The children showed us how amazing they were at the sleeping game and all were asleep by 10:00 on Tuesday night – a repeat performance is hoped for tonight.
Today has been busy, busy, busy. The mammal hotels were collected and in total 7 mice and voles had been to visit. We spent the morning learning all about them. This afternoon 5ST took on the Eggtreme Challenge and 5GS got caught up in an earthquake.
This evening, clay or outdoor games were the choices of entertainment before a whole site game of Stubbington Treasure topped off with a visit from Mrs Mulhall. Tonight, we are once again off to the hide to see what we can see.
The day concludes with 58 tired children who are having the time of their lives.
